ITT on Lackland AFB: What Airmen Need to Know

ITT on Lackland AFB – Information, Tickets, and Travel Services

If you’ve been on Lackland for more than a week, you’ve probably heard someone mention “ITT” and figured it was just another acronym to file away. It’s not. It’s one of the more useful stops on base, and most airmen don’t find out about it until a coworker mentions they got half-price Fiesta Texas tickets.

What Is ITT?

ITT stands for Information, Tickets, and Travel. It’s a Force Support Squadron office that sells discounted tickets to theme parks, sporting events, movies, and local attractions, plus a separate Leisure Travel desk that books cruises and vacation packages. Think of it as the base’s built-in discount travel agency, run for military members instead of the general public.

At JBSA-Lackland, the office sits in Building 5506 on Stewart Street, and it serves the whole Joint Base San Antonio community, not just Lackland personnel.

Hours and Location

ITT (tickets and attractions):

  • Monday–Friday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Saturday: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
  • Closed Sunday and federal holidays

JBSA Leisure Travel (bookings and vacation packages):

  • Monday–Friday: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM (no tour or package bookings after 3:30 PM)
  • Closed weekends and holidays

Address: 1560 Stewart St., Building 5506, Lackland AFB, TX 78236 Phone: 210-671-3059 (ITT) or 210-671-7111 (Leisure Travel)

Show up close to closing and you might get turned away for certain bookings, so plan around those cutoffs, especially if you want a travel package quote.

What You Can Actually Buy There

This is the part people care about. According to the base’s own recreation site, ITT carries discounted admission to theme parks, water parks, sporting events, festivals, and dinner theaters around San Antonio, plus attractions in Florida, California, and other states. That includes recurring options like Dallas Cowboys home game packages and seasonal events such as Oktoberfest.

A few things worth knowing before you go:

  • Some tickets have to be prepaid or special-ordered, so don’t assume walk-in same-day availability for everything.
  • Prices and inventory shift without notice, particularly for theme parks that adjust seasonal pricing.
  • The Leisure Travel side is separate from the ticket counter, so if you’re planning a cruise or vacation package, expect a different conversation (and possibly an appointment).

Who Can Use It

ITT is open to active duty, retirees, DoD civilians, and their families across JBSA, not a Lackland-exclusive perk. If you’re stationed at Randolph or Fort Sam Houston, you can still use the Lackland location.

Is It Actually Worth the Trip?

Honestly, it depends on what you’re buying. For big-ticket items like theme park passes or Cowboys packages, the discount usually beats what you’d find booking directly online. For smaller local events, it’s more of a convenience than a huge saving. Either way, it’s real money off, sold by people whose job is to know what’s currently discounted, which beats guessing on a third-party resale site.
